Robnett has joined the company as Executive Director for Market Development and Project Management. In this role, Mr. Robnett will lead Madison's efforts to develop increased business opportunities in the Federal law enforcement community and expand its deployment of advanced technological capabilities in helping address the enforcement missions of its clients in an era of increased financial sophistication of individuals and entities who become targets of those clients. Mr. Robnett will also work closely with Executive Management to help ensure Madison exceeds expectations in deliverables to its clients and maintains the high level of integrity for which Madison is known in doing so.

Mr. Robnett concluded his career in government services prior to joining Madison as Deputy Chief of Criminal Investigation (CI) for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). In that role, he was responsible for overseeing a worldwide staff of more than 3,000 employees, including approximately 2,100 special agents in 21 Field Offices and 11 foreign countries. These employees were responsible for investigating crimes involving tax, money laundering, public corruption, cyber, ID theft, narcotics and terrorist-financing. As criminal investigators, CI Special Agents fill a unique niche in the Federal law enforcement community. They are the premier Federal financial investigators, having the unique set of skills and related experience necessary to wade through complicated paper and computerized financial and corporate records, provide critical analysis sharpened by years of detecting fraud, use forensic accounting tools to reach unimpeachable conclusions with regard to their analysis and supporting those conclusions with compelling testimony in complex criminal prosecutions.

Jim Robnett began his IRS career in 1986 as a Revenue Agent and quickly moved into the leadership ranks and held positions of increasing responsibility. From 2012 through 2019, he served as the Special Agent in Charge of the Tampa, Chicago and New York Field Offices. Before becoming Deputy Chief, he was the Director of Field Operations (DFO), Southern Area within CI. In that role, he was responsible for planning, developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating criminal investigation programs in the Southern Area, where he was responsible for, among others, overseeing all criminal investigations and the East Coast Cyber Crime Unit.

William Schroeder, the President of Madison Associates, Inc. welcomed Mr. Robnett to the Madison leadership team, stating "Jim Robnett's role with Madison will be to use the knowledge and skills acquired in a sterling career in CI, with a record of outstanding achievements, to increase our ability to deliver the high quality and disciplined professional services to which we have dedicated our firm, in a time of expanding opportunities."
