Richard Raven
Project Director
Richard Raven joined Madison Associates, Inc. in January 2013 as a Project Director. He provides Madison with the uncommon ability to offer guidance and direction in complex financial investigative services on both a national and an international basis. Mr. Raven also provides a comprehensive level of law enforcement service to Madison's clients that is unprecedented in its depth as a result of his recent experience in major, multi-agency investigative efforts in the international arena that resulted in the recovery of hundreds of millions of dollars by the U.S. Government.
Mr. Raven retired from government service after a twenty-five (25) year career with the Internal Revenue Service-Criminal Investigation (IRS-CI), including five years in the Federal Senior Executive Service. He conducted complex financial investigations as a Special Agent and over time served as a Supervisor, Senior Analyst, Special Agent in Charge (SAC), and ultimately as Director, Deputy Chief of Operations.
Mr. Raven's experience in these roles as investigator, supervisor and manager with IRS-CI has provided him with the singularly unique ability to be an expert in all facets of sophisticated, complex financial crime investigations and investigative programs, particularly those relating to money laundering, asset forfeiture, international financial crime and counter-terrorism. His experience in the Senior Executive Service has demonstrated his ability to achieve significant results in budget constricted environments through dedication and leadership.
