Avery Bidmead
Project Director
Avery Bidmead joined the professional team at Madison Associates, Inc., in 2020 as a Senior Financial Investigator on Madison's contract with the Food and Drug Administration- Office of Criminal Investigation (FDA-OCI). Mr. Bidmead is also the Project Director for Madison's work with the United States Department of Agriculture - Office of Inspector General (USDA- OIG).
Mr. Bidmead retired from the Internal Revenue Service - Criminal Investigation (IRS-CI) after twenty-seven (27) years of service, twenty-four (24) of those years with Criminal Investigation where he served in a variety of investigative and supervisory positions. Mr. Bidmead also held several leadership positions including the Southwest Regional Coordinator for IRS-CI's Narcotics and Counterterrorism section.
During his tenure with IRS-CI, he also served on Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Forces and as a Project Manager for investigative content management and digital evidence projects. While serving as a Senior Analyst, Mr. Bidmead developed and delivered highly successful financial investigative training seminars to federal, local, and state investigators as well as AUSA's throughout all districts of the Southwest Region.
As a Project Director and a Senior Financial Investigator for Madison, Mr. Bidmead brings an extensive background in conducting and supervising complex financial investigations with sophisticated fraud and money laundering violations.
