Amanda Todd joined Madison Associates, Inc. (Madison) as Corporate Counsel in June 2011. Prior to becoming a member of the professional team at Madison, Ms. Todd served for six years as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney (ACA) in Virginia where she prosecuted a wide array of felony and misdemeanor criminal cases before juries and the court, including violent felonies and complex financial crime. In her position as an ACA, she provided legal training and instruction to state and local law enforcement officers, prepared warrants on a moment's notice, provided sound professional judgment when called upon, prepared briefs regarding complex legal issues at both the appellate and trial level and pursued forfeiture actions in connection with a variety of state criminal violations.
As Corporate Counsel at Madison, Ms. Todd is responsible for providing counsel to the president of the firm and other senior management on all legal issues affecting the conduct of the firm's business, including contract administration, proposal development, regulatory compliance, insurance, and organizational and business policy. Ms. Todd also holds the position of Madison's Chief Compliance Officer where she is responsible for the oversight and management of the firm's Code of Ethics, all related training and compliance, and ensuring appropriate policies, procedures and monitoring practices are in place.
